I’M STARING IN THE FACE OF SOMETHING NEW: PART TWO

I LIKE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO GETS EXCITED OVER GAZING AT STARS AT NIGHT.

It’s been a week of feeling stuck and extremely bored with life…yes I know it seems I have nothing uplifting to share but seriously I blame the weather (not covid-19). It’s super unrealistic to think I was a sunflower in a previous life, but I’m sure I was or maybe a sun child who was sent here to serve and protect all the sunshine. As much as I can appreciate the four seasons and dance in my snow heels in the middle of Madison Square Garden, I’m standing one hundred per cent alongside my sunflower sisters.

I have this super awesome, always honest and beautiful friend not too far from me but you still need to cross the sea to go and see her which I imagine I do every time I jump into the pool and float around on my inflatable. Earlier this year we decided to be each other’s monkey, or at least 2 of the 3 “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” monkeys because this way we are able to discuss our emotional journeys before acting on them. Girlfriend, you’ve saved my life more times than once and most of the times stopped me from acting the fool. Thank you for teaching me about manifestation and the law of attraction: - Be Specific - Ask precisely for what you want - Believe you deserve it and can have it

- Know that it will not come in the exact form you imagine

- Don’t self sabotage by being impatient and thinking that you are not worthy

Respect, virtual hugs and thanks for being my Editor-in-chief and that you are happy to accept payments in friendship. How cool are you!

Maybe GROW is the right dream but perhaps this island is the wrong destination for this dream? Or maybe I’m unknowingly creating resistance and instead need to move into a flow state. The message here is to be grateful and focus on the here and now and allow the universe to take its time to show us what’s going to be the next chapter.

It’s time to take my power back and to stop thinking about all the what ifs; history has a way of repeating itself and when you have a naturally big heart and you open yourself to care, they will come for you, take from you and then leave you. The aftermath of this is self-doubt, overthinking, blaming yourself and others, and often trying to fix something that doesn’t need fixing.

Instead, choose to GROW in order to make better decisions, follow your intuition, practice self-love and believe you are here for a reason. Keep on being strong, stay excited when you see stars at night and have an awesome friend who’s your fairy godmother and you, her Peter Pan!
